Pope Leo XIV Visit (April 18–21, 2026): Pope Leo XIV undertook an apostolic journey to Angola. Welcomed at Luanda's 4 de Fevereiro International Airport by President João Lourenço and First Lady Ana Dias Lourenço, the Pontiff engaged in official meetings at the Cidade Alta Palace to strengthen diplomatic relations between Angola and the Holy See.
