Participation in an Event of the Angolan Student Community in Hungary

On May 16, 2026, the annual Mentor Conference of the National Union of Students in Hungary (HÖOK) was held at the University of Debrecen as part of the Stipendium Hungaricum Scholarship Programme.

The event was honored by the presence of Ambassador Margarida Izata, as well as the heads of other diplomatic missions accredited to Hungary.

As part of the programme, the Ambassador held a meeting with Angolan students in the context of providing support to citizens residing abroad. The students' experiences focused on adapting to teaching methods and social integration. The reports shared by the student community reflected a combination of challenges and achievements, highlighting academic progress and the institutional support provided by the Embassy.
