Angolan Community Marks Peace and National Reconciliation Day

Commemorating Peace and National Reconciliation Day (April 4), the Embassy participated in a community gathering on April 12 hosted by the Resident Angolans Association on Margaret Island, Budapest. The event brought together community members, diplomats, staff, students, and friends of Angola in an inclusive environment featuring recreational activities, cultural displays, and shared gastronomy.

Ambassador Margarida Izata acknowledged the Diaspora's key role in preserving peace values and projecting a positive image of Angola abroad, encouraging continued solidarity, cohesion, and patriotism.
