On June 1, 2026, Africa Day celebrations at ELTE gathered African diplomats, academics, and water management experts. During the International Forum on "Building Partnerships for Water Security and Sustainable Development" (linked to Africa Day on May 25), Angola identified potential bilateral and multilateral cooperation areas, including specialized training, academic exchanges, and joint projects in water management, sustainable agriculture, and environmental management.
